Juicer Recipes – Smoothie Recipes
If you’re new to juicing and are looking for some juicer recipes to help you along, there are enough juice and smoothie recipes below to get you going, and to have some variety for a good long while.
One thing that you should note also – there isn’t necessarily a correct or incorrect recipe. Of course, if you just combine some strange combinations of vegetables, fruits, supplements, berries or whatever else you plan to use in your juicer recipes, you can come up with some weird tasting concoctions. The longer you juice, the sooner you’ll find it’s very addictive because of the increased energy and overall better health you’ll realize (not to mention the taste), the more you’ll begin to know what combinations of fruits, vegetables, berries and herbs work well together in your recipes.

[Regarding Fruits/Sugar - if you are diabetic, or have to closely watch your blood sugar, be very careful when juicing fruits, as you can impact your sugar level very quickly, and in a very big way.]
Having said all that, I highly recommend that you buy at least one good juicing book. It’s not as though there’s any great expense involved, and it’s money well spent. For well under $20 (some $10 or so) you can get some great juicing books that have much more information than just recipes. If you’re on a budget, as most of us are, try to get one book per month for two or three months, or even one every other month. If you can get 2-3 of the better books, you’ll basically be set. There will be some overlap of information, but you’ll also have a lot more recipes and other great information. You can check out the Juicing Books section on this site for a listing of a lot of books on Amazon. If you find any that look promising, just check out the reviews to see what other juicers are saying about the book.
If you’re wondering what other information that you could possibly want besides the recipes themselves, for one, it’s knowing what specific ingredients, e.g. fruits, vegetables, berries, herbs and/or supplements, can offer help on any specific health problems that you may have. Most (many ?) juicer recipe books do provide at least some data regarding which juices will help with, or help to prevent, various ailments and/or conditions. Some books provide even more in-depth information also. I love books, so for me, buying good books is always gratifying. You also can’t have too much good health information either.
Amazon is always the first place that I go to when I’m ready to purchase anything online. If you’ve never dealt with Amazon (or an Amazon seller), you’ll be very pleased with their selection, prices, and quick (and FREE on most items) shipping. Plus, the reviews, sometimes hundreds, will just about guarantee that you’re happy with your purchase.
Below are some juicer and smoothie recipes with a brief synopsis of the benefits of each. Generally, you’ll want to use a blender rather than a juicer for the smoothie recipes. also, the smoothie recipes that use yogurt are creamy.
